Happy Floors Eva Silver Pebble 12×24 Porcelain Tile Natural Rectified
Clean and versatile, the Happy Floors Eva Silver Pebble 12×24 porcelain tile blends a soft silver‑gray stone look with a natural matte surface. The 12×24 format minimizes grout lines for a smooth, modern layout, while precise rectified edges help achieve tight, consistent joints across floors and walls.
Engineered in durable 9mm (3/8 in) porcelain with a PEI 5 wear rating and a high wet DCOF (>0.59), this tile balances design flexibility with everyday performance—well‑suited to busy homes and light commercial interiors. Frost resistance expands possibilities to exterior facades in freeze–thaw climates.
Planning is straightforward: box coverage is 11.63 sq. ft. (6 pieces). Use on its own for a clean, contemporary canvas or pair with coordinating trims to complete edges and transitions.

Installation Guide – Happy Floors Eva Silver Pebble 12×24 Porcelain Tile Natural Rectified
Important Advisory
Always follow the tile manufacturer’s instructions, local building codes, and recognized industry standards (ANSI A108/A118 and TCNA guidelines). Verify substrate suitability, movement accommodation, and waterproofing/drainage where required.
Step 1: Layout & Planning
- Confirm the substrate is clean, dry, structurally sound, and flat within tolerances for large-format tile (12×24).
- Dry-lay to refine layout, balance cuts, and align grout joints with room sightlines.
- Blend tiles from multiple boxes to distribute shade and pattern variation evenly.
- Use spacers appropriate for rectified tile and include movement joints per TCNA EJ171.
Step 2: Tile Installation
- Use a polymer-modified thin-set mortar rated for porcelain and large-format tile.
- Key mortar into the substrate, then comb with an appropriate notched trowel; back-butter tiles as needed to improve coverage.
- Set tiles with a slight back-and-forth motion to collapse ridges and achieve required bond; target 80–95% coverage based on area and exposure.
- Use a tile leveling system when needed to help minimize lippage on large-format installations.
- Allow mortar to cure per manufacturer guidance before grouting or light traffic.
Step 3: Cutting
- Cut with a wet saw using a premium diamond blade suitable for porcelain.
- Mark and support tiles carefully to minimize edge chipping.
- Ease sharp cut edges where they will be exposed.
Step 4: Joint Filling
- Select a grout appropriate for porcelain and the intended joint width; follow manufacturer instructions for mixing, application, and cure times.
- Pack joints fully with a rubber float, clean diagonally, and remove haze promptly with clean water.
- Use suitable sealant at movement joints and changes of plane; do not grout these areas.
- Protect the installation from traffic until grout has cured.
Step 5: Cleaning & Maintenance
- Clean routinely with a pH-neutral cleaner approved for porcelain; avoid acids or harsh abrasives.
- Use entry mats and protective pads to minimize tracked-in grit and scratching.
- Follow grout manufacturer maintenance recommendations; seal cementitious grout if specified.
