Alsacia Grey 12×24 Porcelain Tile Natural Pressed
Balance modern simplicity with everyday practicality. Alsacia Grey 12×24 porcelain tile delivers a clean, versatile grey palette in a natural matte finish that complements a wide range of interiors. The 12×24 format helps reduce grout lines compared with smaller tiles, creating a streamlined look across floors and walls.
Made from durable porcelain, this tile stands up to active homes and light commercial settings. Pressed edges support classic grout joints and straightforward installation. With frost resistance, Alsacia also opens design options for exterior wall facades in freeze–thaw climates.
Box coverage is 15.5 sq. ft. (8 pieces), making planning and takeoffs simple whether you’re updating a kitchen, bath, or main living area. Use on its own for a refined, monochromatic surface or pair it with coordinating trims to finish edges and transitions.

Installation Guide – Alsacia Grey 12×24 Porcelain Tile Natural Pressed
Important Advisory
Always follow the tile manufacturer’s instructions, local building codes, and recognized industry standards (ANSI A108/A118 and TCNA guidelines). Confirm substrate suitability, movement accommodation, and waterproofing/drainage where required by the application.
Step 1: Layout & Planning
- Verify the substrate is clean, dry, rigid, and flat within tolerances appropriate for tile of this size.
- Dry-lay to confirm layout, balance cuts, and align grout joints with room geometry.
- Blend tiles from multiple boxes to distribute any shade variation evenly.
- Plan appropriate joint widths for pressed edges and include movement joints per TCNA EJ171.
Step 2: Tile Installation
- Use a polymer-modified thin-set mortar approved for porcelain tile.
- Key mortar into the substrate, then comb with a suitable notched trowel; back-butter tiles as needed to improve coverage.
- Set tiles with a slight back-and-forth motion to collapse ridges and achieve the required bond (target 80–95% coverage based on location and exposure).
- Use a leveling system if needed to help minimize lippage on larger-format layouts.
- Allow mortar to cure per manufacturer guidance before grouting or light traffic.
Step 3: Cutting
- Cut with a wet saw using a premium diamond blade rated for porcelain.
- Support the tile fully during cuts and mark lines carefully to minimize chipping.
- Ease sharp cut edges where they will be exposed.
Step 4: Joint Filling
- Select a grout suitable for porcelain and the chosen joint width.
- Pack joints fully with a rubber float; clean diagonally and remove haze with clean water.
- Use flexible sealant at movement joints and changes of plane; do not grout these areas.
- Protect the installation from traffic until grout has cured per manufacturer instructions.
Step 5: Cleaning & Maintenance
- Clean routinely with a pH-neutral cleaner approved for porcelain tile; avoid acids and harsh abrasives.
- Use entry mats and protective pads to reduce tracked-in grit and potential scratching.
- Follow grout manufacturer recommendations for sealing and maintenance if using cement-based grout.
