Neostile Chalk 12×24 Porcelain Tile Natural Rectified
Clean and contemporary, Neostile Chalk brings a soft, light neutral tone in a natural matte finish that complements a wide range of interiors. The 12×24 format reduces grout lines for a smooth, modern layout, while precise rectified edges support tight, consistent joints on walls or floors.
Crafted in durable porcelain, this tile balances refined style with everyday practicality. A PEI 4 wear rating makes it a confident choice for residential flooring, and frost resistance expands design options to exterior facades in freeze–thaw climates. At 9mm (approx. 3/8 in.) thick, it’s engineered for long-lasting performance and easy maintenance.
Use it on its own for minimalist appeal or pair it with complementary materials to build layered, architectural detail throughout kitchens, baths, living areas, and feature walls.

Installation Guide – Neostile Chalk 12×24 Porcelain Tile Natural Rectified
Important Advisory
Always follow the tile manufacturer’s instructions, local building codes, and recognized industry standards (e.g., ANSI A108/A118 and TCNA guidelines). Ensure proper substrate preparation, movement accommodation, and waterproofing/drainage where required for the application.
Step 1: Layout & Planning
- Verify the substrate is clean, dry, structurally sound, and flat within industry tolerances for tiles of this size.
- Plan the layout by dry-laying tiles and centering the design to avoid small perimeter cuts.
- Blend tiles from multiple boxes to evenly distribute any shade or pattern variation.
- Select an appropriate joint width for rectified tile and include movement joints per TCNA EJ171.
Step 2: Tile Installation
- Use a polymer-modified thin-set mortar approved for porcelain tile.
- Key mortar into the substrate, then comb with a suitable notched trowel; back-butter tiles as needed to improve coverage.
- Set tiles with a slight back-and-forth motion to collapse ridges and achieve the required bond; target coverage per industry and jobsite requirements.
- Use a leveling system when appropriate to help minimize lippage with 12×24 tiles.
- Allow the setting material to cure per manufacturer instructions before grouting or allowing light traffic.
Step 3: Cutting
- Cut with a wet saw and a premium diamond blade designed for porcelain.
- Mark and support cuts carefully to minimize chipping.
- Ease sharp cut edges where they will be exposed.
Step 4: Joint Filling
- Choose a grout suitable for porcelain and the selected joint width; follow the manufacturer’s mixing and curing directions.
- Pack joints fully with a rubber float, clean diagonally, and remove haze promptly with clean water.
- Use appropriate sealant at movement joints and changes of plane; do not grout these areas.
- Protect the installation from traffic until grout has cured.
Step 5: Cleaning & Maintenance
- Clean routinely with a pH-neutral cleaner suitable for porcelain tile; avoid harsh acids or abrasives.
- Use entry mats and felt pads where appropriate to reduce tracked-in grit and potential scratching.
- Follow grout manufacturer recommendations for any sealing/maintenance of cementitious grout.
