Dolomite White 12×24 Porcelain Tile Natural Rectified
Refined and versatile, Dolomite White brings a clean white look with a soft natural (matte) surface that suits modern and timeless spaces alike. The 12×24 format helps minimize grout lines for a smoother visual field on floors or walls, while rectified edges support tight, consistent joints.
Crafted in durable porcelain with a PEI 4 wear rating, this tile balances everyday practicality with design flexibility—ideal for kitchens, baths, living areas, and commercial wall applications. Frost resistance further expands design options to exterior facades in freeze–thaw climates.
Use it on its own for crisp minimalism or pair it with complementary materials to create contrast and depth across your project.

Installation Guide – Dolomite White 12×24 Porcelain Tile Natural Rectified
Important Advisory
Always follow the tile manufacturer’s instructions, local building codes, and recognized industry standards (e.g., ANSI A108/A118 and TCNA guidelines). Verify substrate suitability, movement accommodation, and waterproofing/drainage where required.
Step 1: Layout & Planning
- Confirm the substrate is clean, dry, structurally sound, and within flatness tolerances appropriate for the tile size.
- Dry-lay to plan layout, balance cuts, and align grout joints with key sight lines.
- Blend tiles from multiple boxes to distribute shade and pattern variation evenly.
- Use spacers suited to rectified tile and include movement joints per TCNA EJ171.
Step 2: Tile Installation
- Use a polymer-modified thinset mortar approved for porcelain tile; follow manufacturer guidance for trowel selection based on substrate and tile size.
- Key mortar into the substrate, then comb in one direction; back-butter tiles as needed to improve contact.
- Set tiles with a slight slide to collapse ridges and achieve required coverage for the application and location.
- Use a leveling system when appropriate to help minimize lippage with larger formats.
- Allow mortar to cure per manufacturer instructions before grouting or subjecting the surface to traffic.
Step 3: Cutting
- Cut with a wet saw using a premium diamond blade rated for porcelain.
- Support the tile fully during cuts and mark lines clearly to reduce chipping.
- Ease sharp cut edges where they will remain exposed.
Step 4: Joint Filling
- Select a grout compatible with porcelain and the chosen joint width; mix and apply per manufacturer instructions.
- Pack joints fully with a rubber float, clean diagonally, and remove haze promptly.
- Use appropriate sealant at movement joints and changes of plane; do not grout these areas.
- Protect the installation from traffic until the grout has cured.
Step 5: Cleaning & Maintenance
- Clean routinely with a pH-neutral cleaner suitable for porcelain tile; avoid acids and harsh abrasives.
- Use entry mats and protective pads to reduce tracked grit and surface scratching.
- Follow grout manufacturer guidance for care; reseal cementitious grout if recommended.
