Coralina Blanco 12×24 Porcelain Tile Natural Rectified

Clean and contemporary, the Coralina Blanco 12×24 porcelain tile presents a refined white look with a soft natural (matte) surface. The 12×24 format helps minimize grout lines for a smooth, modern layout, while precise rectified edges support tight, consistent joints.

Engineered in durable porcelain with a PEI 4 wear rating and a wet DCOF of 0.65, this tile balances style with everyday practicality for kitchens, baths, living areas, and light commercial spaces. Frost resistance expands design options to exterior facades in freeze-thaw climates.

Use it on its own for crisp minimalism or pair it with complementary materials to create layered, architectural detail. The natural finish sits comfortably with both warm and cool palettes.

Installation Guide – Coralina Blanco 12×24 Porcelain Tile Natural Rectified

Important Advisory

Always follow the tile manufacturer’s instructions, local building codes, and recognized industry standards (ANSI A108/A118 and TCNA). Ensure proper substrate preparation, movement accommodation, and waterproofing/drainage where required.

Step 1: Layout & Planning

  • Verify the substrate is clean, dry, structurally sound, and flat within industry tolerances for the tile size.
  • Plan the layout by dry‑laying tiles to balance cuts and align pattern/vein directions as desired.
  • Blend tiles from multiple boxes to evenly distribute any shade or pattern variation.
  • Use appropriate spacers; select a joint width suitable for rectified tile and include movement joints per TCNA EJ171.

Step 2: Tile Installation

  • Use a polymer‑modified thin‑set mortar approved for porcelain and the tile’s format.
  • Key mortar into the substrate, comb with a suitable notched trowel, and back‑butter tiles as needed to improve coverage.
  • Set tiles with a slight back‑and‑forth motion to collapse ridges and achieve proper bond; meet required coverage per application and location.
  • Use a leveling system when helpful to minimize lippage on larger formats.
  • Allow mortar to cure per manufacturer instructions before grouting or permitting traffic.

Step 3: Cutting

  • Cut using a wet saw with a premium diamond blade rated for porcelain.
  • Mark cuts carefully and support the tile fully to reduce chipping.
  • Ease sharp cut edges as needed for exposed transitions.

Step 4: Joint Filling

  • Select a grout suitable for porcelain and the chosen joint width; follow manufacturer directions for mixing and cure.
  • Fully pack joints with a rubber float, clean diagonally, and remove haze promptly with clean water.
  • Use appropriate sealants at movement joints and changes of plane; do not grout these areas.
  • Protect the installation from traffic until grout has cured.

Step 5: Cleaning & Maintenance

  • Clean routinely with a pH‑neutral cleaner approved for porcelain tile; avoid acids and harsh abrasives.
  • Use entry mats and furniture glides to minimize abrasion from grit.
  • Follow grout manufacturer maintenance guidance; seal cementitious grout if recommended.
