Tools & Materials Needed

Wet saw with diamond blade
Notched trowel (1/4″)
White thin-set mortar (non-staining, suitable for natural stone)
Non-sanded grout (to avoid scratching the honed surface)
Rubber grout float, sponge, bucket
Tape measure and level
Natural stone sealer (before and after grouting)

Step 1: Surface Preparation

Ensure the installation surface is clean, level, and dry. Remove dust, grease, or debris. Make sure walls or floors are stable and structurally sound.

Step 2: Dry Layout

Lay out the mosaic sheets to determine the final pattern and make necessary adjustments. Mix tiles from different boxes to balance natural color variation.

Step 3: Adhesive Application

Apply a white thin-set mortar with a notched trowel. Press the mesh-mounted tiles gently into place. Use a level to keep alignment and flatness consistent.

Step 4: Cutting

Use a wet saw with a diamond blade to make clean, accurate cuts. Cut slowly to avoid chipping the marble, especially around the curves of the arabesque pattern.
