Breccia Lunare White Artech 12×24 Porcelain Tile Natural Rectified
Refined and versatile, the Breccia Lunare White Artech 12×24 porcelain tile brings a clean white look with a soft natural (matte) surface. The 12×24 format helps minimize grout lines for a smooth, modern layout, while precise rectified edges support tight, consistent joints across floors and walls.
Engineered in durable porcelain with a practical 9mm (3/8") thickness, this tile balances design flexibility with everyday ease of maintenance. A PEI 4 wear rating supports robust residential use and select light commercial floors, and a DCOF of 0.42 provides dependable traction in typical interior settings.
Each box covers 15.50 sq. ft. (8 pieces), making takeoff and ordering straightforward for kitchens, baths, living areas, and commercial wall features.

Installation Guide – Breccia Lunare White Artech 12×24 Porcelain Tile Natural Rectified
Important Advisory
Always follow the tile manufacturer’s instructions, local building codes, and recognized industry standards (ANSI A108/A118 and TCNA guidelines). Confirm substrate suitability, flatness, movement accommodation, and waterproofing/drainage where required.
Step 1: Layout & Planning
- Verify the substrate is clean, dry, structurally sound, and flat within tolerances appropriate for 12×24 tile.
- Dry-lay to confirm layout, balance cuts, and align patterns; avoid small perimeter pieces.
- Blend tiles from multiple boxes to evenly distribute any shade/pattern variation.
- Select joint width appropriate for rectified tile and the layout; include movement joints per TCNA EJ171.
Step 2: Tile Installation
- Use a polymer-modified thin-set mortar approved for porcelain and for the substrate conditions.
- Key mortar into the substrate, then comb with an appropriate notched trowel; back-butter tiles as needed to improve coverage.
- Set tiles with a slight back-and-forth motion to collapse ridges and achieve required bond; target coverage consistent with application and location requirements.
- Use a leveling system when helpful to minimize lippage on larger-format installations.
- Allow mortar to cure per manufacturer instructions before grouting or light traffic.
Step 3: Cutting
- Cut with a wet saw using a premium diamond blade rated for porcelain.
- Mark and support tiles carefully to reduce chipping; ease sharp cut edges where exposed.
- Drill openings with diamond core bits at low speed with cooling to minimize stress.
Step 4: Joint Filling
- Select a grout suitable for porcelain and the chosen joint width; follow manufacturer directions for mixing and cure.
- Fill joints fully with a rubber float; clean diagonally and remove haze promptly with clean water.
- Use flexible sealant at changes of plane and movement joints; do not grout these areas.
- Protect the installation from foot traffic until grout has cured as directed.
Step 5: Cleaning & Maintenance
- Clean routinely with a pH-neutral cleaner suitable for porcelain tile; avoid harsh acids or abrasives.
- Use entry mats and felt pads to minimize tracked-in grit and potential scratching.
- Follow grout manufacturer guidance for maintenance; seal cementitious grout if recommended.
