B-Natural Kaolin 12×24 Porcelain Tile Natural Rectified
Refined and versatile, the B-Natural Kaolin 12×24 porcelain tile brings a calm, neutral look with a soft natural (matte) surface. The 12×24 format helps reduce grout lines for a cleaner layout, while rectified edges support tight, consistent joints for modern results on walls or floors.
Built on a durable porcelain body, this tile delivers everyday practicality with a PEI 5 wear rating and a wet DCOF >0.42. Frost resistance further expands design options to exterior facades in freeze–thaw climates. A dependable choice for kitchens, baths, living spaces, and commercial wall settings.

Installation Guide – B-Natural Kaolin 12×24 Porcelain Tile Natural Rectified
Important Advisory
Always follow the tile manufacturer’s instructions, local building codes, and recognized industry standards (ANSI A108/A118 and TCNA guidelines). Ensure proper substrate preparation, movement accommodation, and waterproofing/drainage where required.
Step 1: Layout & Planning
- Confirm the substrate is clean, dry, structurally sound, and flat within industry tolerances for 12×24 tile.
- Plan the layout to center key areas and avoid small perimeter cuts; dry-lay to verify joint alignment and pattern.
- Blend tiles from multiple boxes to evenly distribute shade and tone variation.
- Select a joint width appropriate for rectified tile; include movement joints per TCNA EJ171, especially at perimeters and transitions.
Step 2: Tile Installation
- Use a polymer-modified thin-set mortar approved for porcelain and the tile size.
- Key mortar into the substrate, then comb with a suitable notched trowel; back-butter tiles to improve coverage.
- Set tiles with a slight sliding motion to collapse ridges; target coverage as required by location (typically 80–95%).
- Use a leveling system where needed to help minimize lippage on rectangular formats.
- Observe mortar cure times before grouting or allowing light traffic.
Step 3: Cutting
- Cut with a wet saw and a premium diamond blade rated for porcelain.
- Support the tile fully and mark cuts carefully to reduce chipping.
- Ease sharp cut edges as needed at exposed transitions.
Step 4: Joint Filling
- Choose a grout suitable for porcelain and the selected joint width; follow the manufacturer’s mixing and cure instructions.
- Pack joints completely with a rubber float; clean diagonally and remove haze promptly with clean water.
- Use appropriate sealant at movement joints and changes of plane; do not grout these areas.
- Protect the installation from traffic until grout has cured.
Step 5: Cleaning & Maintenance
- Clean routinely with a pH-neutral cleaner approved for porcelain tile; avoid acids and harsh abrasives.
- Use entry mats and felt pads to reduce tracked grit and potential surface abrasion.
- Follow grout manufacturer maintenance guidance; seal cementitious grout if recommended.
