Neostile 2.0 Silver 12×24 Porcelain Tile Natural Rectified

Sleek and versatile, Neostile 2.0 Silver delivers a refined silver‑gray look in a modern 12×24 format. The natural (matte) surface brings a soft, contemporary character, while rectified edges support tight, consistent grout joints for clean lines across floors and walls.

Crafted in durable porcelain at approximately 3/8 in (9mm) thickness, this tile balances design flexibility with everyday practicality. A PEI 4 wear rating supports robust residential use and select light commercial interiors, and frost resistance makes it a smart option for exterior facades in freeze–thaw climates.

Use it as a streamlined canvas or mix with complementary materials to build layered architectural detail. Straightforward planning is supported by 13.56 sq. ft. of coverage per box (7 pieces).

Installation Guide – Neostile 2.0 Silver 12×24 Porcelain Tile Natural Rectified

Important Advisory

Always follow the tile manufacturer’s instructions, local building codes, and recognized industry standards (ANSI A108/A118 and TCNA guidelines). Verify substrate suitability, movement accommodation, and waterproofing/drainage where required for the application.

Step 1: Layout & Planning

  • Confirm the substrate is clean, dry, structurally sound, and flat within tolerances for large-format porcelain tile.
  • Dry-lay to plan layout, balance cuts, and align grout joints; center the design to avoid sliver cuts at perimeters.
  • Blend tiles from multiple boxes to evenly distribute any shade variation.
  • Select a joint width appropriate for rectified tile; include movement joints per TCNA EJ171 and project conditions.

Step 2: Tile Installation

  • Use a polymer-modified thin-set mortar approved for porcelain and large-format tile on a suitable substrate.
  • Key mortar into the substrate, then comb with an appropriate notched trowel; back-butter tiles as needed to improve contact.
  • Set tiles with a slight perpendicular motion to collapse ridges and achieve required coverage per ANSI standards for the application.
  • Use a tile leveling system when needed to help minimize lippage on large-format installations.
  • Allow mortar to cure per manufacturer instructions before grouting or opening to light traffic.

Step 3: Cutting

  • Cut with a wet saw and a premium diamond blade rated for porcelain.
  • Measure and mark carefully; support the tile fully during cutting to reduce chipping.
  • Ease sharp cut edges where they will be exposed.

Step 4: Joint Filling

  • Select a grout suitable for porcelain and the chosen joint width; mix and apply per manufacturer directions.
  • Pack joints completely with a rubber float; clean diagonally and remove residual haze promptly with clean water.
  • Use appropriate sealant at movement joints and changes of plane; do not grout these areas.
  • Protect the installation from traffic until grout has cured per instructions.

Step 5: Cleaning & Maintenance

  • Clean routinely with a pH-neutral cleaner suitable for porcelain; avoid acids and harsh abrasives.
  • Use walk-off mats and felt pads where appropriate to limit tracked-in grit and surface abrasion.
  • Follow grout manufacturer maintenance guidance; reseal cementitious grout if recommended.
