Naica Crema 12×24 Porcelain Tile Natural Rectified
Warm and welcoming, Naica Crema delivers a soft cream tone with a versatile natural (matte) surface that complements a wide range of interiors. The 12×24 rectangular format supports clean lines and a modern aesthetic, while rectified edges enable tight, consistent grout joints for a refined finish.
Crafted in durable porcelain, this tile balances elevated style with everyday practicality for busy households and professional spaces. A PEI 4 wear rating supports robust residential floors and select light commercial uses, and frost resistance opens design options for exterior facades in freeze–thaw climates.
Use Naica Crema on its own for a calm, minimalist canvas or pair it with coordinating trims to complete edges and transitions. The subdued matte finish makes it easy to coordinate with woods, metals, and natural textures across kitchens, baths, and living areas.

Installation Guide – Naica Crema 12×24 Porcelain Tile Natural Rectified
Important Advisory
Always follow the product manufacturer’s instructions, local building codes, and recognized industry standards (ANSI A108/A118 and TCNA guidelines). Verify substrate suitability and flatness, provide movement accommodation, and ensure proper waterproofing/drainage where required.
Step 1: Layout & Planning
- Confirm the substrate is clean, dry, structurally sound, and flat within industry tolerances for tiles of this size.
- Dry-lay to plan layout, balance cuts, and align grout joints; center the design to avoid small slivers at perimeters.
- Blend tiles from multiple boxes to evenly distribute any shade or pattern variation.
- Use spacers suited to rectified tile and incorporate movement joints per TCNA EJ171 and project conditions.
Step 2: Tile Installation
- Use a polymer-modified thin-set mortar approved for porcelain tile and the installation environment (interior/exterior, floor/wall).
- Key mortar into the substrate, then comb in one direction with an appropriate notched trowel; back-butter tiles as needed to improve contact.
- Set tiles with a slight sliding motion to collapse ridges and achieve required coverage for the area of use.
- Employ a tile leveling system if needed to help minimize lippage on larger units.
- Allow mortar to cure per manufacturer guidance before grouting or opening to light traffic.
Step 3: Cutting
- Cut with a wet saw using a premium diamond blade suitable for porcelain.
- Mark cut lines carefully and support the tile fully to reduce chipping.
- Ease sharp cut edges where they will be exposed.
Step 4: Joint Filling
- Select a grout appropriate for porcelain and the chosen joint width; follow manufacturer instructions for mixing, application, and cure.
- Pack joints fully with a rubber float, clean diagonally, and remove haze promptly with clean water.
- Use sealant at movement joints and changes of plane; do not grout these areas.
- Protect the installation from foot traffic until grout has cured as directed.
Step 5: Cleaning & Maintenance
- Clean routinely with a pH-neutral cleaner suitable for porcelain; avoid acids, oil-based soaps, or harsh abrasives.
- Use entry mats and protective pads on furniture to reduce grit and scratching.
- Follow grout manufacturer recommendations for care; seal cementitious grout if specified by the grout maker.
